Savannah Turns 1 year old!

Savannah was a little slow getting into the swing of things but once we made her laugh a couple of times she forgot that she was trying to be shy and she started having fun!

Finally, I had to buckle down and learn how to blog for my mom's sake. She has been threatening me since mid July and here it is already November. The time has gone by so fast and Savannah is growing up to be quite the little lady. Her most favorite things to do are "so big",clap her hands and of course, dance with MorMor (Grandma Kay). For her first Halloween, we visited Mammie (Grandma Betty) and MorMor and Great Grandma and Grandpa Colvert were able to see Savy for the first time in 6 months! Here are just a few of the most recent pics...

OK, Sorry for not posting in a while. Finally, here is the video of Savannah's first swim. She loved it. Held her breath like it was just another day in the pool.

Mmmmmmmm. Savannah try's green beans for the first time.

Savannah is growing up soooo fast. She crawls all over the place. There's no holding her back. She has learned all kinds of new moves like kneeling on both knees, crawl / walking (I guess its something daddy did too) and her latest move she started a few weeks ago is standing. She loves to walk around the house if you walk with her. By the looks of things she will be walking early just like mommy.

If she could talk... "Look at me daddy, look at me"

She likes to stand every chance she gets. Cant take your eyes off her or you never know what your going to miss. Its a really exciting time at our house.

Sergeant Savy Rules the House!

Bass Pro Shops here we come! Daddy is just a little excited. Not too much though.
She was mesmerized by the huge bass. Dad can sympathize with that.
Alright, the moment we have been waiting for. Savannah tried on her itsy bitsy, teeny weenie, red strawberry two piece bikini. She was so adorable.1st swim with daddy. She had a blast. We think she will be a natural swimmer.
She loved flaoting around on her custom raft tanning. (Everything is true but the tanning part)

We feel so blessed to have such a happy, healthy new addition to our family. She really lets us know what life is truly all about.

SaTuRDaY NiGHT JaZZ iN THe PaRK

We went to Jazz in the Park tonight out at Lake Las Vegas with our friends Courtney, Slade and Sloan. The weather, the company and the music were just perfect. Savannah is so intrigued by the camera. She is becoming quite the ham. Perhaps she is following in her cousins footsteps. We will have to wait and see.

Well the weekend has arrived. We have a great family weekend planned. If all goes according to plan we should have some great stuff to share by Sunday. I cant give it away but all I will say is 2 piece bikini...
